Alex Scott - Bristol City
Seems to be the hottest property in the Championship, and we are alleged to be front and centre to sign him

19 years old, would Moyes really invest 25 million on a kid ?

Am sure we can negotiate the £25m down and include a couple of our youngsters ...... Mubama, Marshall, Scarles, Kodua , Earthy as loans ... in the deal

If you have a spare 10 mins find the highlights or longer videos of when they played Man City, he stood out against their team containing the likes of KDB, silva and kalvin Phillips

Only downside about scott is he’s a massive spurs fan

i think he's 100% he kind of player we want, the potential is huge and in 3-4 years he could be another £100m player

Re: Alex Scott - Bristol City
Just had a look at his highlights reel. Skillful player, runs well with the ball, goes past defenders very nicely but sometimes runs into traffic. Exciting player to watch but not sure about the end product. Loads of potential. Reminds me of Grealish - gets fouled a lot too.

For 25m you are buying potential but do we have a manager and coaches who can bring out that potential?

Re: Alex Scott - Bristol City
I've only seen him in highlights videos on YouTube. Looks like Martin Samuelson to me. Distinctive style, but substance lacking.
Obviously Bristol City fans are better informed.

£25m on a 19 year old promising kid, can’t see it.

Agreed. Unfortunately like with Downes, even if we do it, I can't see any game time for him under Moyes.

That Alex scott's Bristols are not that substantial. Compact I would say.

I’ve seen him a few times, exactly the sort of player we should be signing.

Re: Alex Scott - Bristol City
Has anyone watched him?

He has 5 goals in 78 championship games..... for a so called hottest property attacking midfielder that's a bit shit isnt it?

Not many assists either, so why the hype??

Re: Alex Scott - Bristol City
I guess it all depends on Sullivan coming up with the money and him being happy to come.
Pep spoke very highly about him after the cup game so there could be some interest from the big boys.
Channel islander who seems pretty grounded.

Very good reports and believe he had a good game when they played Man City in February in the FA Cup.
If we have squeezed an extra £20m plus out of the Rice transfer I'd spend it on him
